Every child in Ghana wants to play sports. Basketball is a fast-developing sport in Ghana. Basketball is a great teacher; players learn to compromise, to persevere in their efforts and increase their self-esteem, self-respect and leadership skills. They learn to work as a team, and to respect others. Our personal development program allows children involved in our program to undergo theoretical and practical sessions based on our organizational selected values: Leadership, Teamwork, Self-esteem, Commitment and Respect. Our reflection class is always based on scenarios during games and practices which we relate to their lives at school, home or in a work environment.  Further to this is the introduction of a vocational  training  which targets teenage mothers in order for  us to allow the inclusion of more vulnerable women while meeting the community needs.

We believe the children can influence change in their community.
In any collective sport, players have to work hand in hand to achieve a common goal. The victory depends on the effort of all.
Players have to commit themselves to train on specific days & make sacrifices for the benefit of the team.
Coming from different backgrounds, we learn how to respect individual differences as well as respect the rules established by the team.
We are teaching the kids to trust in themselves, to stand up for what they believe and resist peer pressure.
