Every child in Ghana wants to play sports and basketball is a fast-developing sport in Ghana. Basketball is great at teaching players to learn to how to compromise, to persevere in their efforts, to increase their self-esteem, their self-respect, and their leadership skills. Additionally, they learn to work as a team and to respect others. Our personal development program allows the children involved in our program to undergo theoretical and practical sessions based on our organizations 5 core values: Leadership, Teamwork, Self-Esteem, Commitment, and Respect. Our reflection class is always based on scenarios during games and practices in which we relate to their lives at school, at home or in a work environment. Furthermore is the introduction of a vocational training program which targets teenage mothers in order for us to allow the inclusion of more vulnerable women while also meeting the communities needs.

We believe the children can influence change in their community.
In any collective sport, players have to work hand in hand to achieve a common goal. The victory depends on the effort of all.
Players have to commit themselves to train on specific days & make sacrifices for the benefit of the team.
Coming from different backgrounds, we learn how to respect individual differences as well as respect the rules established by the team.
We are teaching the kids to trust in themselves, to stand up for what they believe and resist peer pressure.
