Playing around is something that all the children of the world love. No matter their age, no matter their history, no matter their race. It is universal. However, the barriers to having fun and to play are numerous. In Ghana, little is done to encourage children to participate in organized activities, and many children would rather engage in dangerous and unsupervised activities. Recognizing that sports can be a means to promote education, health, development, and peace; all of our activities follow a carefully developed curriculum that allows the inclusion of the weak, women and children. Using basketball as a tool to empower them so they may become agents of change in their communities.

Help us complete our new community center to reach out to more women and children:

We believe the children can influence change in their community.
In any collective sport, players have to work hand in hand to achieve a common goal. The victory depends on the effort of all.
Players have to commit themselves to train on specific days & make sacrifices for the benefit of the team.
Coming from different backgrounds, we learn how to respect individual differences as well as respect the rules established by the team.
We are teaching the kids to trust in themselves, to stand up for what they believe and resist peer pressure.
